How much does a Givebear donation kiosk cost?+
The 15.6" model is $899 and the 21.5" model is $999, both one-time hardware prices. Free standard shipping is included in the United States and every unit ships pre-configured with Givebear giving software.
How does the transaction fee work?+
Givebear processes each donation, retains a small transparent fee that covers credit card processing, secure software hosting, and operations, and deposits the rest directly into your organization's bank account.
Do donors have the option to cover the fee?+
Yes. Donors are asked at the kiosk whether they'd like to add the transaction fee to their gift so 100% of their intended donation goes to your cause. The majority happily choose to cover it.
What happens if the kiosk breaks?+
We offer full hardware maintenance and warranty. If a kiosk stops functioning through normal use, we ship a replacement unit at no cost to your organization.
Does the kiosk require Wi-Fi?+
We recommend connecting the kiosk to your secure Wi-Fi or ethernet for the best experience, but cellular options are available for off-site events, galas, and pop-up locations.
Are the tax receipts compliant?+
Yes. When you set up Givebear you enter your organization's legal details and tax ID, and automated email receipts are formatted to meet 501(c)(3) and CRA charitable giving requirements.
